Tenants are responsible for cleaning and maintaining their apartments at all times including proper removal of trash. We recommend routinely cleaning
your apartment, so the moving process can be as smooth as possible. Maintaining a clean apartment also means keeping your security deposit and avoiding unwanted fines due to damage.
In regards to carpets, we expect them to be in the same condition as they were before you arrived, aside from daily wear and tear. Odors, stains, discoloration, and rips are not considered ordinary wear and tear. After a resident moves out and before the next resident moves in, the carpets should be properly cleaned.
